The CAMI Health Team

Madison Langrin, Intern

Madison Langrin is a rising senior at Johns Hopkins University studying Public Health. She joins CAMI Health from the East Coast this summer as a CAMI Health Intern focusing on increasing awareness for the IMPT through social media presence, the MPT Mini Video Series, and outreach to partners.

In 2018 as an intern with the YesSheCanCampaign, a non-profit organization dedicated to bolstering the network of young minority women working towards higher education, Madison discovered her passion for women’s empowerment. During her time at Hopkins, she has weaved this enthusiasm in with her public health coursework and identified a keen interest in minority women’s health and maternal health outcomes. When Madison is not supporting CAMI Health’s work, she volunteers as intern for SimpliFed, a telelactation start-up network, performing background research on the efficacy of International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs) on breastfeeding outcomes and documenting evidence to support their initiative to diversify the lactation consultant workforce.

Excited to be contributing to CAMI Health and the IMPT’s mission, Madison is looking forward to exploring her creativity while creating engaging content for CAMI Health and IMPT’s platforms, forging new partnerships for the organization, as well as experiencing the professional public health world in action. Looking forward, Madison hopes to take the next step in pursuing her public health career by applying for a master’s degree in maternal and child health. In her spare time, Madison can often be found spending time with her family, reading romance novels, and re-watching Gilmore Girls.
